Richmond Summer Music Institutes
The GreenSpring Summer Music Institutes attract students from around the world for intensive music study. Our programming features focus areas including harp, choir, guitar, piano, strings (violin, viola, cello, bass) and chamber music in Virginia’s capital city of Richmond.
Summer is the perfect time to be inspired by world-class faculty, hone practice and performance skills, and have a great time making music with new friends and fellow musicians! Multiple programs are available for students at all levels ages 8-18, from beginners to the most advanced. Options include half-day and full-day day camps.
In its 28 year history, the GreenSpring Summer Music Institutes have served more than a thousand talented young musicians from across the United States and around the globe.

Multiple Week Sessions
Each session is unique and when combined with the other sessions forms a cumulative, learning-rich experience. Registrants may sign up for one session, or sign up for multiple sessions for maximum benefit!
Daily Schedule, Monday-Friday:
Half Day: 12:00 - 4:00 pm EST
Full Day- 9:00am - 4:00pm EST
Fees:
Full Day (Richmond or Maryland Session) - $750
Half Day (Richmond or Maryland Session) - $375
Room & Board: $200, Optional add on tour for Maryland week $175.
