Programs

Our schedule of classes, individual lessons, coaching by our distinguished faculty, ensemble rehearsals and workshops offer a challenging and exhilarating experience. The experience is complemented by a full slate of guest artists, faculty and student concerts and performance seminars.

Private Instruction

Private instruction is a crucial element in the proper skill development for both vocalist and instrumentalist. We offer private lessons in piano, voice, guitar, harp, flute and winds, strings, percussion, organ and brass. Students receive individual attention and training that emphasizes rapid technical growth, as well as artistic and personal growth.

Group Classes

We offer a number of group classes for pre-schoolers through adults, including music discovery, music history and music theory classes.

Preschool Music Classes

For children too young to begin dedicated practice on a specific instrument, these fun classes allow them to enjoy the fun of new musical skills.

Ensembles

We offer a number of opportunities for our students to sharpen their performance skills through ensemble playing. Ensembles include: children's and youth choirs, youth and adult harp ensembles, band classes and chamber music with Academy of Music students and faculty.

Young Artist Program

The Young Artist Program is designed for serious young musicians who intend to pursue a career in music. This intensive, conservatory preparation program will afford a complete immersion in not only the repertoire and technical studies of the instrument of choice, but also in music history, theory and ear training.

Homeschool Programs

Let the Academy of Music assist you in supplying an important element in your child's education: music. Our offerings span the range between Music Discovery for pre-school children and the Touring Choir for high school students, with everything in between.
